Subject Matter Expertise
Our core capability is Subject Matter Expertise (SME) support. Our specialists combine outdoor and field experience with local language and cultural understanding, while also being able to interpret military terminology and procedures into practical execution. This enables IMS BV to act as an effective interface between international teams and local stakeholders, improving mission effectiveness and operational safety.
Cultural Adviser and Operational Language Service
IMS provides CulAd support to Special Forces missions in West Africa and delivers capacity-building classes for partner forces in Africa—commonly within NATO-led contexts—covering topics such as PsyOps and the information environment. We run Operational Language Service (French–English NATO terminology) and Operational English lessons for Francophone military personnel, alongside profiles aligned with J9 CMI and InfoOps roles.
Training
In addition to defense and security, IMS BV delivers outdoor and survival-based training programs for corporate management. These programs focus on leadership, team cohesion, resilience, and decision-making under pressure, and are designed and delivered by experienced instructors.
Supplies
A dedicated IMS division, Mission Support Trade, supplies deployment-focused products for direct mission enablement. IMS MST supplies specialized products for defense, maritime, and outdoor applications. This includes, among others, (special purpose) vessels, maritime equipment, expeditionary and safety supplies, tactical medical equipment, and products for outdoor and wildlife management. Where relevant, we provide sourcing, international supply, distribution, and operational support related to deployment and use.
Financial services
IMS provides financial services as a purchase and payment broker for Defence ministries and related organizations and corporations when standard banking rails are unavailable or restricted for specific countries or situations. We focus on continuity, speed, traceability and strict compliance.
